Ease English is an English-learning app created by Mrs K. This policy explains what information the app holds and why.

When you create an account we store your email address, your name, and the learner details you choose to share — your language, level, country, age range and learning goal. This is used to sign you in and to personalise your lessons. It is private to your account.

What you write and say during practice is stored with your account so that Mrs K's AI can give you feedback, remember what you find difficult, and show your progress. Your practice is never shown to other learners.

When you speak, your voice is turned into text so the app can respond. The audio itself is not kept.

Practice text and speech are sent to our AI provider to generate teaching responses, feedback, translations and cue cards. They are not used to advertise to you and are not sold.

We ask for your agreement before this happens. What is sent includes the text you type, the speech you record when you use the microphone, and the practice context Mrs K needs such as your level and what you are working on. The AI services used are Google Gemini and OpenAI models, reached through the Lovable AI gateway; their own terms govern how they process what is sent to them.

You can decline, or withdraw your agreement later in Account. AI practice then stops, and the rest of Ease English — your lessons, your saved work and your progress — continues to work as normal. When Mrs K prepares AI lesson materials about you, your agreement is required for that too.

When you join a live lesson with Mrs K inside Ease English, the app uses your device's camera and microphone so that you and Mrs K can see and hear each other in real time. You are asked for permission before this happens, and you can turn your camera or microphone off at any point during the lesson.

Your live video and audio are transmitted in real time using LiveKit Cloud, which carries the media between you and Mrs K. Ease English does not record your lessons, does not store any lesson video or audio, does not transcribe your lessons, and does not perform automated analysis of what is said during a live lesson. Once the lesson ends, the live video and audio are gone.

If the in-app classroom cannot connect, a backup external meeting link is provided so your lesson can continue. That link is provided by a separate meeting service with its own privacy terms.

Camera and microphone access are used only for live lessons and for speaking practice inside the app. They are never used in the background.

When you book a lesson we store the lesson time and its status so that you and Mrs K both know what is arranged. Payment is taken on Stripe's own secure checkout page — Ease English never sees or stores your card details.

Ease English does not use advertising, tracking or third-party analytics tools, and does not sell your information to anyone.

You can delete your account at any time from the Your account page inside the app. This permanently removes your profile, practice history, progress and lesson records, and cancels any upcoming lessons.
